The Net Service Group qualified as a finalist at the seventh edition of the awards thanks to its case study on blockchain technology developed using B-Cert.
The customer Abbanoa SpA, Sole Operator of Sardinia’s Integrated Water Service, expressed a need to certify meter readings to guarantee the dates on which data was collected and its unchangeability in the case of disputes, including past and present claims, in the hope of avoiding unpleasant legal proceedings and costly, high-risk evidence hearings.
Flosslab responded to this need by using B-Cert to notarise water meter readings on its Etherna BCPaaS platform.
