What is it?
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is a system that helps manage business relationships with customers, from searching for potential customers to strengthening the relationship with them, and to managing all related procedures.
What does it do?
The system makes it easier to manage an articulate and shared Customer database by gathering data types and enabling to fill up each Customer record with a wealth of information. It manages sales, from first contact to contract, and further into the business relationship, allowing the task assignment and planning actions like meetings or calls (with customised notifications). Massive mailing can be managed through the System, grouping Customers by characteristics (or assigned tags) to create campaigns tailored to specific customer types. CRM is an essential tool for Marketing management: it offers an overview of sales order, of current negotiations, lost sales, and current contracts, and it can create reports and analyses to support strategy decisions.
FlossLab, according to its own tradition, mainly uses Open Source Systems also for CRM, namely Open ERP. The system and all of its potential can also be integrated with other applications (such as DMS and BPM), as well as with Internet and Intranet portals.
